go back to said post and try and edit for a 2nd time and the 1st edit info isn't visible

Sounds like caching in your browser.... have you tried to refresh the page when you've gone back the 2nd time?

refresh as in just clicking on

yes i've been into other " conversations " made a cup of tea and come back to edit a spelling mistake and the info disappears

Hotshot, there is a lot of information of listed items and their respective prices being lost on here? Which goes very much against my faible for catalogues old and new, it is like throwing out my Simon Finch modern first edition catalogues. No way you can pull anything listed into a database?

You were following the Red Hook Crit thread which I converted to an Event... perhaps you had some left over notifications for the old thread which is now deleted and this caused an issue.
