What's the law on killing a fox in your garden, say with a bow and arrow ?

Probably a bit dodgy under 'cruelty to animals' law. Shooting them with a rifle is fine.

and yet it's ok to poison them as they're vermin..

i feel sorry for the little adorable fur coats, so much so i might pop over ice's fence early tonight to spread a second tin of dog meat around his yard

Did you put that whole ham leg there as well? I was wondering how a fox got that over the fence.
