yeah, TRP are just Tektro's "racing division". I used the TRP 8.4's for a bit but moved back to cantilevers as they had no modulation or mud clearance. Good for commuting, less good for racing.
Schwalbe Sammy Slick perhaps? Never used them but tyres I've had from Schwalbe in the past have had chunky sidewalls that should seal up.
