You MUST obey all traffic signs and traffic light signals.
Laws RTA 1988 sect 36 & TSRGD reg 10(1)The bit for peds crossing roads is here, and it contains some sensible guidance about where to cross, etc, which many peds ignore at their own peril, there is nothing prescriptive like the above.
Your attitude is just selfish; it undermines the value of the cyclists' lives lost on our roads (may they RIP), and erodes the safety and liberty of all cyclists (including the vast majority who ride sensibly and legally), by giving oxygen to the moronic lobby who voice mis-behaving cyclists as an excuse to differentiate us from legitimate road traffic.
