I got in touch with a particular workshop in london, asking them if they were able to build a set of carbon or carbon/alloy rims onto a pair of road hubs i have.
They came back to me saying they were up to ordering a batch of carbon/alloy rims made to order by Gigantex http://www.gigantex.com.tw/product-view.php?id=92. they are in the process of gathering interest for this offer and i said i would post that offer in here.
They need to order 10 pair of rims of this kind, that they would then build onto novatec hubs (hub model and spokes tbc with them). their provisonnal price for those is 700/750 £, ( tbc after oder taking import duties into account ).
Bottom line, if you are interested gigantex+novatec 20h/24h road/racing wheels with alloy braking surface, at a cost of 700/750£, get in touch ...
