The only thing geometry wise to worry about in the early days is BB height. Measure ground to BB spindle, it needs to be 280mm minimum with 165mm crank arms. (I think the larger sized cordoba comes in around 300mm with 25c tires, but double check)
Make sure the bike and tires are immaculately clean and in good condition and you follow the guidelines on the website, it will likely draw attention of the coaches.
I'd just use a hire bike for stage 1, saves a lot of messing about.
Morning..
I am looking at doing a taster session and would like to get my accreditation sorted at somepoint my question is regarding bikes..
I have on longterm loan a Aventon cordoba, would this be ideal to use for the taster session (i know they offer loan bikes but this is setup for me right now) and then onto the full accreditation??.. I am thinking geometry etc etc
