Thank you for your email of 2 June 2015 and your earlier email notifying us of the recent incident that took place between your son and our drivers.
I can now advise you that the matter has been fully investigated and dealt with in line with our formal procedures and I confirm that appropriate action has been taken. Unfortunately I am unable to advise what that action was due to reasons of confidentiality.
I just wanted to assure you that the behaviour displayed on that day is not typical of Europcar staff. I would like to sincerely apologise on behalf of the Company for any offense or upset that was caused and I will be sending your son a small token by way of compensation.
Assuring you of our best attention at all times.'
Have asked if the 'small token' can be a Tommy Voeckler signed team Europcar cycling jersey.
