EB
my better half really enjoyed it and she absolutely hates 'action'filmsThis. And what Campervangogh said - totally reminds you why it's good to go to the cinema.

Spy - actually funny, miranda is in it as miranda and is a bit annoying. Jason statham is funny. Stay till the end...

Can someone help me remember a film title please? The only scene I can remember is of a sniper team at what i think was a golf course, they shoot someone but one leaves behind a twisted up gum paper that helps the police identify them. I think they might have been a rogue police team or something like that...

Saw Timbuktu last night about the repression of moderate Muslims by jihadists. Slightly overegged but moving and beautiful all the same. Enjoyed how banned music was included in the soundtrack (love the sound if an ngoni), and the surreal and absurd element was portrayed particularly well with a (no spoiler) football game

It's better than Mad Max
-
• #11546
A colleague of mine walked out of mad max last night, after half an hour. I can see their point that it had very little coherent story but surely that's not the point?
I think they didn't even get to the bit with the guitar.

does your friend wear a fedora?
mega-fan bloke at work was bitching about it 'not having a story' - because the other three were positively shakespearean in their fucking scope. melt.
