After claiming I can never do afterwork rides I think I can technically do Tuesday. But I am incredibly unfit atm so likely to slow you down. Also, 42mph winds according to BBC...

I think most of the ladies ride I've done have been more gearz than not =P

My knee is unhappy so I'm giving it a few days rest..

i'm happier with next week too, as (if my calculations are correct) this time tomorrow i may be up to the eyeballs on ibruprofen and resisting the urge to curl up in a small, hormone induced ball, in which case riding bikes into the wind is not high on the list of things i want to be doing

Few interesting lumps, get to nice roads about 20 mins out of Catford once you're in Chislehurst. I reckon it's going to take about 2 and a half hours from/to Catford, hopefully we'll be a bit faster in a group, and hopefully I won't make as many wrong turns as I did this am!

Whose in then? Can people make 6pm at The Broadway Theatre in Catford? Or is that too early?

Alas, I'm out for June, was busy all weekend and flying to Vienna on Thursday, so need to do laundry and pack and all that fun stuff.

No way I can get that far South at that time and leaving it later means it gets dark.. prolly out for the south routes!

How about starting with the road circuit at Lee Valley this Thursday and look at shorter routes that can have a later leaving time??

Right...having done some thinking, I reckon later start times are possible but may feature trains homes, and those that want to ride home, how does that sound?

Need to have a think/tweak some routes but imma going to update the 1st post in this thread but for now I'm going to go to Lee Valley this Thurs (the 11th) eve to get some miles in and it'd be lovely to see some/any of you!

Sounds good.. I don't think you can realistically expect a group ride (leaving after 7 to accommodate more people) to finish before dark even at this time of year!

I might join you on Thursday if I don't make it out to Potter's Bar with the WNKRs on Wed.. I've never been on the road circuit before =)

I reckon as long as we're back in civilisation/street lights by dark that's a good aim/close enough, eh?

Can't do Tuesday or Thursday this week but I might sometimes be able to do 6pm from Catford (though probably only if I'm working from home). Really keen to try and start doing occasional afterworkers. Or any kind of exercise for that matter.
