Saw a chap in Peckham the other day riding something a lot like this:

Not sure that's the same frame, but it was a 90s Giant TT bike, purple frame. I may be being massively prejudicial, but I'm not sure the rider was, ahem, the original owner. Clipless pedals being ridden with trainers was the first clue, the second clue being he didn't look like a cyclist, the third being his mate was riding a fucked MTB that likewise looked like it was wrenched off a lamppost.

I've seen that guy. Some part of me wants to believe he spends his Sunday's crushing miles on it.

I guess you never know. Seems an odd bike to ride around Peckham if you do smash it out at the weekends though.

I've seen him too, and not for a while, so he's persisting in riding it which is something I suppose

I have a hunch he's the legitimate owner, he seems to have a stable of similarly exotic bikes. Other than the guy's appearance and location nothing else to go by to say they are otherwise. He seems quite brazen about riding them about.
