why not raw until the fork end instead of black to fit with the rest of the frame?
Just realised they must be crabon. Still raw crabon would be rad, though dunno about its durability. -

Yeh, it's carbon, mizuno ones. I'm on the lookout for a Ti Fork though, but those are like non existent at all >.>

• #54
Or maybe I can just paint the fork titanium silver :p

I think i'm happy with having it as white and will be sending it off for a pro job. I painted the carbon forks white with black on the inside. Bought a trispoke from @privatepatterson for a Tarck project but still not sure what frame so I'm currently rolling with the trispoke on this roadie until something comes up. Got the cheap decals from eBay just to check how it looks like. Have to say that i'm happy with the results.
Trispoke wont be there forever as I prefer using low profile rims.

The exposed/white looks amazing: very crisp and classy!
King cages look great, but the Flite looks a little dated.
8.8/10 would critique again

Yeh, was actually thinking of a different saddle just for the looks, but stuck with the flite as it seems that it;s the only saddle that fits me properly.
Planning on getting a CK Ti Headset and taking the paint off the stem for bare ti look. Currently on the lookout for some Ti Road forks so i can use a grammo or something. So if anybody has any Ahead grammo at 100mm or less in length then i'll gladly buy them off you.

Fantastic paint job! Very nice and unique looking GT.
Matching stem would finish this in my eyes. And a matching wheelset of course.
-
• #61
looks great! keep the trispoke and get a matching rear! Moar HHSRB pointz!
-
• #62
Heh, double hed trispoke? Hard to find one for a good price though. Especially a road rear one that accepts 11 speed.
-
• #63
but think of the radness :(

Just recently got a bonus at work so got some extra cash for some nice set of wheels. Anybody got any suggestions? Clinchers would be great. Would love some HED3's or Corima Quadspokes if there's any.
Missed out on some Chris king wheels from here recently..

recently acquired two corima four spokes. Will take a picture later on. MIght need to change the handlebar tape to black as I have pink on it at the moment
-
• #66
This is how it looks like at the moment. saddle will be changed to something a bit more modern, not sure which one yet. Handlebar tape will be black until I source some really soft 3-5mm fizik ones.
Not sure what I'll do with this bike yet... Maybe swap it for a sweet HHSB Tarck bike :p. Having bike projects are exciting and one would want to build more after the previous is done..
Just got my Ti seat clamp as well. Might actually got for Ti Headset just for the lolz and strip the stem on its bare Ti self.

Do it! Also if you painted the top halves of the bottle cages to white to match the frame. Could look sweet?

Might look too OTT no? hehe
-
• #69
I could imagine the paint to come off quite easily whenever you squeeze a bottle in..
How about a crabon Selle SMP for maximum HHSRB points?
-
• #70
^ very true
^^ OTT or rad, fine line. I think you've reached that stage with the double corimas.
-
• #71
hah, might be true :p
-
• #72
Are you looking for a 1" ahead grammo?
I have one, 100 or 110mm, excellent conditions.
-
• #73
Yes! I am! Pmed

Front wheel backwards no? Otherwise, that looks really damn good. White, black and Ti - great simple combo.
@HHC planning on white connecting to the headtube then black down to the fork end. Still not sure though, maybe just black, or just white.
