Nope. DD is traditionally aimed near a full moon in early July. Phases of the moon don't follow the solar calendar, so not a specific date.

So I'm happy to put up the thread, route and other handy information about the pub for those who would like to cut off a few miles from the beginning, but I doubt I'll be able to lead it this year. I'll double-check but seriously doubt it. It's pretty straightforward to lead it, you just need a garmin, a sense of adventure and the willingness to corral a bunch of cyclists into cycling 14mph for 7 and a bit hours (and not letting them stop for more than 20 mins at a time).

@youramericanlover Well, thanks. I might well take you up on that if no-one steps up to provide one. I'm very keen to ride this again any which way.

much fun last year, although recommend warm clothes being somehow brought along for maximum enjoyment of the destination (as we were all so cold last year - all of us but for dicki departed prematurely!);
might be tied up this year what with Eroica and some other events being nearby... but Evernoted for 2016 (!) - might invest in a Garmin thang by then too.. :-)
