Was looking for a new project and this lovely zullini (zullo&chesini) super strada frame appeared on the forum. I was originally going to go singlespeed, but as I've already got a plum vainqueur singlespeed build the exact same size/geometry I decided to try my hands at a geared bike and give my crappy knees an easier ride.
Here's how i got it, quite a few paint chips here and there, including a large one on the top tube:
Cleaned up the frame, covered up paint chips with nail polish, (will repaint properly in the future) cleaned up all the chrome and repainted the pantographed forks.
Added a Campagnolo headset, seat pin and nuovo record bb.
On a very tight budget (as always) Hoping 90's campagnolo 9speed parts, awaiting a cinelli A1&criterium cockpit to arrive and then whatever else I can get at the right price.
And will very much need advice setting up gears for the first time!
