Does anyone else have ITM duals with a similar problem.

i had a pair, bit of wood and some tapping helped push them out - they were tight. seemed like the best way to do it without scratching them as well.
i would hammer them but put something soft, like wood, inbetween the bats and hammer. or use a copper mallet

Yeah, will give it a try.
were they easy to move after they'd been tapped or was it just then stuck in that position?
Mine are quick close to the back so this may be quite tricky.thanks

I've hit parts with the hammer and located exactly where the issue is.
The right aero bar is jammed with the quill stem part of the bar. I can move the base bars relatively freely but the aerobar is still stuck.
Hitting it with a hammer from the back is problematic as it i fonelt eant to loose it and I've tried hitting it with a hammer from the front with no success.
The nut that tightens around it can be completely undone and has no affect. It is not threaded on the outer side so I cannot do the coin trick.Any ideas?

Clamp the base bar right up to the quill bit and then maybe whack it a couple times while drenched in WD40 etc. You might be able to get more overall direct force to the quill clamp area.
Looks like it might have a cm of space behind the quill stem clamp so hitting it either way could work? always use something with rubber or wood to avoid scratching

Sorry for late reply, but I cant picture what your saying in the first paragraph. Whack it from where?
I know this is a bit of a first world problem but here it is:
I'm having an issue moving one of the aero bars (the left). The right one can move pretty freely from me only using my hands but the one on the left doesn't budge.
I have undone all the screws and doused it in wd40 for three hours or so. Still though the bar doesn't move.
I am yet to do anything too serious. Maybe taking a hammer to the back of the aero bar at the back (good or bad idea).
Thanks for any help
