Fairly sure it isn't the BB, after another ride this morning - there's no sound even if pushing hard on the cranks, but it seems to be related to the front end and happens more after going over bumps. I checked for cables hitting the frame, headset play and a general look around for loose bits but can't see any - what else to check? I thought maybe front QR is worth a look next?
