Shame, I just sold my 54cm CAAD6. Looking at your set up of that CAAD5, fairly set back seatpost, average stem 120mm(?) I think you'd be pretty squeezed up on a 52cm CAAD10, unless you want to run pro style stem lengths. But, as always, best thing to do is to try and test ride both the 52 and the 54.
Or just watch ebay, CAAD5's, 6's, 7's and 9's come up fairly frequently in 54cm.
once I had a cannondale caad5. I bought the frame and it was a bit ruined (the paintjob) and I decided to PINK it. At the time I love high rims and this is how the bike was. It was very fast but a bit stiff for long rides. I sold the bike and now I miss it :)
My ideia now is to find a caad frame and set it with Sram red and mavic R-sys slr wheels.
The caad5 was a 54 (real 54 toptube ctc) and now the new caad10 54 has 54,5 of toptube... and also some other changes in the geometry... Does anyone here had an old caad 54 and now have a new caad 54? Maybe it's better to go choose a new 52 isn't it?
I ask this here because I think it's the right place to do it ;)
