yes .I live in flat city but there are some good hills here. i use to ride 46 15 and it was a bit annoying. now i ride 52 15 it is a bit hard to me in windy days or when ride with luggage/ IMO strong rider can ride 3.2 3.4 ratios. 3 25 is good for me i think. under 3 it's for kinda SF cities.
