  • If you are willing to cross the pond to the Netherlands, sure :)

  • It is a very cute cat ;)

Went to Paris and went to the street with the pet shops, will post up pics of the kittens. The expensive kittens. A persian was 1,700 euro!

  • I only went out for a little while. I am beginning to think this is not an act of affection, or she misses me. It's an act of ownership, a form of punishment for going out...

By the way, happy birthday, Miss Mouse!!

  • Nah she is making you smell like her...so other cats know you are not a stray and have an owner ;)

  • But she knows I have a washing machine.

  • Does anyone else come home to find random bits of their clothing around the house? Without fail my socks dirty or clean will be left either by the front door or some other random place.

  • New sofa. Why you scratch it? Little fucker.

  • I've gotta British blue shorthair. How can something that causes havoc be so cute?

  • My sofa's got that sort of texture fabric on it, and one of the little bastards loves to claw it. Been a lot better since she's been allowed to discover the outside world though.

  • Here's mine, btw.

    Caturday

  • Awesome photo.

  • Does everyone else give there cats voices?

  • Not just voices: a special jibbersh language

  • I've given all my neighbourhood cats names.

    There's:
    Fluffy cat (obvs fluffy)
Aggro (picks fights all the time)
Mask cat (markings make it look like he has a kabuki mask on)
Fluffy cat's imposter (looks like fluffy cat but isn't)
Barrel cat (big fat black cat that waddles)
Slomo (does everything in slow motion, looks like he's on dope all day)
Stalkie (stares at me through my living room window)
    Pirate (has one eye)
Timmy's twin (looks like my next door neighbour's cat Timmy but isn't)
and New cat who doesn't have a proper name yet

  • I let Pierre out for the first time, night before last and he came running back in quick-sharp, chased by two medium sized black* un-neutered males, balls swinging freely in the wind.

They sat outside the living room window howling the whole night while he paced up and down the front room. Poor little guy.

Last night I stopped at Argos on the way home and got myself a Supersoaker Double Drench to teach them a lesson about being in my garden and howling. Did the cats return? Did they fuck.

WTF is with people not neutering their male cats?

    *obvs racist

  • maybe they are stray or feral? I don't bother with waster gun, I just go and chase them off, remember you are a much bigger cat than them!

  • God knows. One of my neighbours has a big tom cat with big swinging balls too, and a big balled dog. Perfectly friendly people, but I guess of the type that doesn't see the need to neuter. My little guys don't take any bullshit though, and keep their garden safe.

  • There are charities that will neuter strays.

Of course I'm not for one moment suggesting that you catch these cats and hand them over to such a local charity for the forcible removal of their freely-swinging balls, but- oh, who the fuck am I kidding, that's exactly what I'm suggesting.

  • I think CHAT 'teach' you how to work out if a cat has a home and if they don't they lend you cage and other tools and even people? to catch any feral / stray and to neuter them, then if memory serves, they clip the top of one of their ears, microchip them and return them to where they were caught. Or something...

  • Yeah, the RSPCA guidelines are also that you need to figure out if Mr Testicles has an owner or not before sending them to the ball-choppers, and all charities operate along the same lines http://www.rspca.org.uk/adviceandwelfare/pets/cats/straycats

  • Ohhhhhh she looks like my old cat!!!!! Sooooo sweet :)

And yes, cat's cause chaos. If you wanted something that sort of listened you should have gotten a dog XD.

  • Any suggestion to get my cat to shut up at stupid o'clock? I think she was a little worried about the wind last night might blow us both away so she kept popping out and back in and to tell me it's still windy outside. She was ever so kind, but I am totally sleep deprived today.

  • I don't think they're stray or feral. Both look well fed and healthy.

It's just owners who hold on to weirdisms like "why should I cut his balls off, I wouldn't want someone to do that to me..."

  • You'd be suprised how fat some stray and ferel can be!

  • No, but if you find one then do tell. Gabba wanted to go out but decided that meowing at the door instead was a better option.
