Look AL264 frame+Wound Up&Chris King

55 cm size frame with new Wound Up track fork and Chris King Gripnut. Frame is in good condition but because it is old and used there is marks of use.

I bought this from 48x17 Cycles Athens in January 2013 and I have been building it since so now it is time for this bike to have a new home where it gets ridden.

I am asking 1200 € for this set/OBO. PayPal fees and shipping costs is not included in the price.

Well if I check todays rates from dollars to euros it is around 1130 € with out taking in to account Finish taxes (24% vat+1,5% customs) to forks and head set or shipping costs. So I think that before leaving comment like that you should check the facts for your self.

And at the moment Aspire Velotech sets the price for Wound Up to 399 $...

So you paid 1130 euros (+finnish taxes and shipping) and now having used the items you would like 1200 euros?

Just to count in the finnish VAT for forks and headset I have payed at least 1240 € for this.

As it stands in the first post "new Wound Up track fork and Chris King Gripnut" and I have not used the frame eather. I tought that it is better to tell why I am asking this kind of price instead just saying this is the price and thats it. I don't expect you to understand this but please think is your complainig giving anything to this thread. If you find cheaper one I will match the price, OK?

Jus madness in my mind that anyone would pay that much on a non custom built frame.

In fairness there are a few differences such as the track ends.

track ends means hipster tax shoots up.

But if we only allow stuff to get sold at below retail price then we'll just loose access to lots of interesting frames and stuff.
If someone on here wants to buy the frame and they find it here (i believe they don't make these frames anymore?) then they should be able to whatever the price (if they can).
Again, if someone wants to sell on here over elsewhere it only benefits us and really they should be able to.

Its fine to complain if you think the price is too high but then try to find some real evidence.

I would have thought their values were about right (a google search was the limit of my research) though yes they are very expensive.

Probably have much more success if @DrJones were to split the frame.

This frame is amongst others like ctrack way beyond the point when it stopped losing its value, gaining it nowadays
