I just got around to building it up as a single-ring town bike with a bit of a mix of nice components, but unfortunately I need some cash to get me through the month as exams and things have curtailed my income a bit and as I'm normally fully loaded with a huge backpack the posture's not been ideal so I've ended up just sticking to my very conspicuous and decidedly vain bright yellow Colnago cross bike anyway.
So, would prefer to sell as a full build for speed but might be prepared to split if interest.
Frame is as previous; 731OS Sirius 700c Lo Pro, nice lug work and epic 90's paintjob, some cosmetic marks but technically good, 54cm square.
Wheels are grey ano'd Suntour XCD hubs with 7spd freewheel, laced to nice quality Mavic 3CD anodised rims with barely any wear and stainless spokes, brass nipples.
Brakes, Dura-Ace 7403, excellent condition. Levers are grey-ano'd Shimano 105 with slightly badly fitting Dia Compe hoods.
Cranks, single-ringed with Ofmega pista single chainring bolts on Campagnolo Chorus road cranks, 170mm, 45t TA Specialites chainring, 135 BCD, lots of heel rub etc but tapers etc good. Nice new Campag crank bolts.
Pedals are Suntour XCD-spinning smooth but could use some grease in there tbh as they sound pretty dry.
Rear Mech is a Campagnolo Xenon 9spd one with 7/8spd jockeys installed.
Single shifter is a grey ano'd Shimano 600-the l/h can be provided if you're wanting to put a front mech on it (as can a front mech I suppose)
Bars/stem are 3TTT 42CM and ITM 80mm respectively.
Seatpost is alloy Ritchey Comp, saddle pictured is a shabby Selle SLR which colour-wise actually suits the build quite well I reckon... I can replace for a white selle laser saddle if preferred.
New cables/outers, BB is a new TIFOSI carbon shelled number, headset is a shimano 105 that came with the frame and is smooth. Tyres are just mis-matched ones I had in the cupboard, Michelin Pro-3 and Vittoria Open Corsa CX, I don't know how much life is in them.
I've only ridden it a few times and it seemed to be fine in terms of chain drop, but with single-ring builds it can be an issue depending on the road surface and chain length so if it happens a lot it's a pain in the ass and you need a chain catcher or just a front mech, even if not used. Because I've not ridden it a lot I can't say for sure how well it will fare so caveat emptor and all that...
Happy to re-jig it to a double chainring and put a front mech/additional shifter on.
Update _ 6/6/15 FRAME SOLD-SPLITTING
Reluctant to split atm but let me know if interested.
I bought this as a frameset from getoutofbed a few months ago here: http://www.lfgss.com/conversations/264017/#comment12146880
