just want to watch the champions league final (hoping it's a cracker)
apart from that, really wanting the transfer nonsense to get done with sooner rather than later, not sure I can stand the three months of will they won't they...

Right - that was embarrassing. Knackered players against a better team and dodgy ref, with a manager who only has one plan. Thanks Tim for (just) avoiding relegation, but that's not going to crack it for next season.
So another nightmare season over and a yentzing period waiting to see if we get taken over (probably not), if we can hang onto Benteke (probably not) and whether we buy anyone decent to replace the many shite players we currently have (probably not).
Think I'll spend the summer in the cricket thread...oh.

As well as Carles Gil, Andreas Weimann and Philippe Senderos, Aly Cissokho, Matthew Lowton, Brad Guzan, Shay Given and Joe Cole, Sherwood is understood to be willing to let Nathan Baker, Kieran Richardson and Alan Hutton leave Villa Park this summer.
Lolz....5 a side, rush goalie next season.

Mind you. I'd not stand in the way of many of them tbh.

So, where are people gathering for the nocturne?
I will either be near a straight or where the course turns right.

I will walk around in a circle until I meet someone I want to speak to or MrsO drags me into a restaurant.
Forecast rain.

I'll be all over the bleachy cocktails if FSG allow BR/the TC/bungle from Rainbow to spunk north of £20M....fuqdat £29.75 on Ben-fuckin-teke.
"Judge me after 3yrs" you said....Well we are...
"When you spend £100M you expect to challenge for the title"....what happened a year later?
Your interview dossier contained your plans for 4-2-3-1. It didn't work out too well. You added Sturridge and Coutinho in Jan and eventually stumbled on what was to become a devastating attack and the most exciting title tilt in a generation. Why would you throw that model away instead of perfecting it? We're now going back to your old formation and your wish list is Benteke, Ings and Milner?
There's more but I can't be arsed.

If I was Qatar, I'd maybe be easing down on the wholesale slaughter of Nepalese workers round about now.

Have the US got details on Blatter,
or,
did the sponsors tell him to sling his hook?
What chance England, or Home Nations, to replace Qatar? -
• #117525
Too many delegates owe their cash piles to Blatter and will be sick and bitter to see the end of the gravy train - the WC won't come near England or the US for another few decades.
Still high?
