Cheap Dawes Mixte frame & fork (with new BB)

Posted on
  • One Dawes Mixte Frame & Fork! now £20.

The BB is "newish" - it was put in probably 6 months ago and hasn't been used since if at all, though the bike has lived on my only semi-covered balcony.

    Reynolds 500 Steel.

Some surface rust on one of the stays but nothing that looks chronic to me.

You can have the bars in the pictures or can remove if preferred.

When built up for my girlfirend it was a nice, fairly light 5 speed steed.

Located in SE4 (Brockley) but could probably bring it elsewhere locally in the evenings.

  • If it is ~120mm rear dropout spacing and an English thread on the BB?

  • Dibs pending size

  • Undibs too big Cheers

  • Hi - it is English threaded BB.

Rear dropout spacing is 128mm, which I guess is why the wheels had a 4mm washer/spacer thing on each side. I do actually have the wheels if spacer/washer or the wheels are of interest.

  • After a fixed conversion. 128 is a bit wide to get to Bristol and then sort spacers for a rear. GLWS.

  • £5 price drop...

  • Size?

  • I'm making it: Seat Tube CT: 53cm & Virtual Top-Tube CC: 54cm.

It seemed to fit both my fairly short girlfriend (she rides a 48 or a 50 road bike) and me (I ride a 52/54 road) bike fairly well.

  • £5 price drop...

  • Does this take 700c or 27" wheels?

  • Hey, did this sell?

  • This has Sold - thanks!
