small update in caad
saddle - Specialized Romin Evo Comp
stem - Thomson x2 -17* -
• #29
All you need now, is a smaller frame.

No he doesn't.
This looks like a good fit. Having a 140mm stem and a foot of seatpost showing isn't always neccesary.
Very classy build that, class.

Oh just being picky and jealous over theese wheels.
-

I don't think frame is too big for me. It just doesn't have sloping, so it doesn't show too much seatpost. Stem is 110mm, so not too short. It's just comfortable :)

Caad3 has standard BSA BB, I use Rotor 3D+ crankset so I just bought Rotor's BSA30 bb, but there are lots of cranksets you can fit to bsa bb

Ok, Motta is sold, Mielec is for sale, time for some real deal
rather not quick project, but I'll keep thread updated

Frame is gonna be made by Rychtarski, it's painted now, so in a few days it'll be ready for building.

why cromor?
-
• #40
Cromor OS, because it's cheap and lugs compatibile.
Few more days and I'll tell something about ride quality. -
• #41
Fair enough. Stainless dropouts?
-
• #42
yup.
there's new photo, now the color looks more like it should ;) -
• #43
What's up with the upper head lug?
-
• #44
lots of modern lugs look like this. Now I won't have too much sloping and headtube long enough, so I don't need spacers under the stem. It's also possible to cut it down, but I like it.

• #45
very pegoretti ht lug
-
• #46
Would like to see the Motta get 'Period Corrected'
-
• #47
saddle has to be lower, then cables, chain and it's ready to ride.

Lovely.

looks mean!
thanks @blacklisted
now I'm thinking about changing stem to Thomson x2, but I'm still not sure about the angle
-17 would look badass, bud -10 would be more comfty...
