RE: stem - each to their own I guess. I used an X2, it didn't work / I used an ARX, it did. Haven't swapped any components on my bike since it was built, nearly a year ago. Not that fickle.
RE: old Assos kit: Do you prefer riding around advertising Sky and their affiliated companies? Or triangles and flower print? Crossed hammers and scythes and tattoos perhaps? Giant "meh". I find it quite fun getting colourful interesting old jerseys for £10-15, which are technically nearly identical to today's. What's wrong with that? Should I fall in line and pay £120 for something black with a white band around the arm?
Why so angry on a Friday? Really don't see what all the hate is for.
