Hmm, when you say full backup, what do you mean? I normally back up boot, data and system and enable compression.
This'll back up your ROM, so should you find the M snapshot crap you can wipe system and then restore your old ROM.
The above doesn't back up your pics, music and whatever else you have on your 'sdcard', as Android calls the non ROM bit of your internal storage (or external, depending on what device you've got). But then wiping and restoring your old backup won't affect this partition either.
Let me know if that makes no sense or I'm talking out of my arse, but that's my understanding of it and I've restored a few TWRP backups when a nightly's caused problems.
