I rode home in football shorts and socks last night.
Sorry.

Getting past the self employed faff is the most important thing. Wake up, do your ride. Try not to faff online for two hours. I often fail in this aim.

are you me..?

• #4331
We are all me.

Also try not to get into the habit of touching yourself before lunch. It's a slippery slope.
-
• #4333
putting clothes on quite difficult without touching myself
i shouldn't complain really, lots of free time, like early partial retirement

Yeah it's great. I've now got to the point where if I have to work in the same office for longer than a month I get very weirded out.

In the last 2.5 months (since March 22nd) I've ridden a total of 212km.
I'm riding ~210km on Sunday.
Let's just hope that running (and a large industrial bag of HTFU) is a good substitute for cycling fitness.

Looks like a great choice for a certain informal off-road downhill event near Exmoor at the start of July.

I had an epiphany on a ride today - realised where the term nodder comes from. Similar feeling to when I understood umop3pisdn

My first two attendances were on my original polo bike, 24x16 fixed on 26x1.5"(=38gi) with a cheap front canti brake and pinned flat pedals.
You'll be fine.

I love you!

After spending quite some time removing small, but some stubborn, rust patches...some which just don't want to react away with rust removers and require fiddling with 2000 sandpaper...
...why am I cycling steel bicycles again?I hereby confess to sinful thoughts about alu frames.
-
• #4347
Been there, know that pain. But hang in there - steel frames always turn out prettier than their stout alu cousins.

Anyone need a size 43 Bont Vaypor, left hand shoe only? The right hand shoe has melted after my efforts at heat moulding went a bit wrong...
-
• #4349
Pics please

Of the melted shoe!
now i'm firmly self employed and have time each day for a 2 hr ride...
fettled bike(s), laid out kit, zero miles..
