Firestone walker are now available in the UK, probably the best bit of beer news of 2015 to date.

Cross Keys for lunch. Had Brodie's Mild, Kiwi Pale Ale, London Fields Pale, and Leytonstone Stout. All great.

I was going to get some of those. I have a turbo session planned though. Oh god, the torment of choice.

Is that the one in the tunnels in waterloo? I had a look at that but don't think i can get through enough beer to justify the ticket price but pretty sure you'd have no problem!
-

Yeah, in the vaults. £50 per session is still pretty rich though. I'm sure I could drink that much in a session but I could also just buy £50 worth of beers from various online retailers, etc. and avoid all the pain of queuing only to find they've run out of whatever, the trendies hurting my eyes, struggling back home afterwards. There's also the annoyance of being shuffled out for the next session or close without an option to carry on chatting with a brewer. £250 for all sessions so I don't miss any of the beers... plus food... hmmm..

bah!
just wandered along Friars Street (took in cardinals hat, heroes, eagle, pheasant [curious display of pumped up young guys wearing cammo and chest bumping, wtf?!]), beer was sidelined once the assembled company decided shooters were the order of the night, don't remember much else but hangover isn't too bad, or perhaps i'm still drunk. Nice people in worcester.. :)
Hooky, that's my local beer

Brooklyn East IPA, nice and smooth and hard to believe its 6.9%.

I got as far as the word "sessionable". Fuck off! And triple fuck off for trying to call a triple IPA* sessionable.
*Also, I wonder if it is a true triple, if it does have sugar added.
-
• #3646
Not sure about the 'sessionable' bit but it's 10% so they must've spiked the sugar to get it up there. Their blog might mention how they brewed it.
Some of us 'session' Belgian beers so I don't reckon I'd have too much trouble with a few cans of this... just the £5.50 price tag...

I generally work on the £ per % rule when budgeting for beer. Ie, that would like like it was £2.25 if it were 5%, so maybe not too bad.
I just can't stand the word "session" or "sessionable". It's beer! And if any of it isn't going to be suitable for a session, it's going to be something like this one.

Oh, I had a look at Brewdog's prospectus the other day for potential investors. It's hilarious. Might see if I can find it online...
Yep, it's here:
Includes:
- Build a sour beer facility
- Launch Hop Shot; a new ice-distilled beer
- Open a craft beer focused hotel
Not sure if that belongs in the meme thread.

I meant Grinder.
