• 850's are being scrapped at a very high rate now- they are a "£500, good tyres" type of car when you see them for sale. Give it a few years and they'll be genuinely rare I think. Which means buying "heritage" parts direct from Volvo Sweden.

  • It will be interesting to see how modern cars turn into classics and if there turns out to be a real market for them.

    Supercars aside, I don't think 20 year old cars are going to be as appealing, given the electrics involved in maintaining them and the way they go wrong.
