Check out the Audax thread in Rides and Races, some people are doing the Paris-Brest-Paris ride. Like Dunwich Dynamo it's a ride from the capital city to the sea but three times as far away. I think a couple of people from here are entered into the Transcontinental Race as well. Should be clocking up around 4000k

There and back in 2009 in preperation for London-Edinburgh-London (1400km in 115 hours). Made it into a DIY 400km Audax by starting in Dorking with a ride up Box Hill and finished near home in Putney. 433km, on fixed.

Nice route, was also planning to make Colch this year via the A137, and the route card directions to Ips (which somehow managed to get me lost last time!);

have Evernoted your back-roads route south of Colch, east of the A12, if inspired to ride any further, ☺
