Regarding low temperature use. I havent noticed any increased battery drain. I unfortunately spend a lot of time on the road bike below zero. Usually With the bike covered in a layer of salty slush.
My friends vectors however, used to kick up a fuss in the Cold. Claiming low battery. Sometimes when the battery was actually fine.

Will be interesting to see what p2m say, less than half predicted life is pretty poor
As a Stages owner I dream of approaching less than half predicted life...........

Battery drain shouldn't be higher at low ambient temperature, but battery performance is severely affected. At some point, the effective internal resistance rises to such a high level (because the chemistry rate can't keep up with the current drain) that the terminal voltage will drop to a level the circuitry regards as dead. This is why Arctic explorers like external battery packs for their cameras, so they can have the battery under the thermal insulation layers of their clothing.

Any opinions/users out there of the pioneer gen2/additional cyclo computer?

Just stop riding your bike
What's that got to do with Stages battery drain!?

Low temps affect lithium ion batteries the most, I think. Not sure how badly things like alkaline batteries are affected.

What do the flashing lights mean on the P2M? I really need to read that manual...

Has there been any discussion of the Limits power meter on this thread?

Yes, you can either UTFS or take my word for it that everybody thinks they're a waste of space. DCRainmaker has slagged them off too, @xavierdisley is bound to hate them (and has tweeted as much) due to Q-factor issues.

That was the thrust of DCR's comments - vapourware plus over-aggressive timeline seems like a recipe for people not getting either product or their money back.

Finally got around to fitting my Quarq to my Canyon roadlite, first ride figures seemed extremely jumpy but maybe that was down to my pedalling style.
What won't be fun is refitting my Athena cranks once my Aeroad frame arrives.Anyway, figures seem consistent to my powertap so all good. Thanks for all advice.

P2M didn't say much. Or anything. Beyond maybe it was a bad battery!
We'll see...
Very useless.
And yes, hopefully they are good and get back to me shortly.
