edit: whoops a bit too hasty there. PM sent about the 26" thang

  • Nope, sorry, it's built for a 26" - no clearance for 700s

  • Noooooo! Thanks for the reply, gonna have to be an undibs in the case

Absolute bargain though would make an absolutely perfect tourer/commuter for someone. Best of luck with the sale.

Any chance of a pic of it built up?

  • That's a shame. But it's how I ended up with it the first place - the seller had initially bought it mistakenly thinking that it took 700s.

Anyway, good luck with your search.

I'll try and dig out a pic of it built up.

  • Great deal. Nothing wrong with 26"
Plenty tyre, rim, brake and mudguard options.

    e.g http://www.velovitality.co.uk/collections/26-tyres/products/compass-26-tyres

  • Agreed. Already have everything in place for a 700c build though, including wheels, tyres, and a stockpile of innertubes. Was genuinely considering relacing my wheels to 26" for this frame (it's that nice! and the rims are on their last legs anyway) but I'm downsizing and trying to keep all my bikes as interchangeable as possible at the moment. It's probably a tad on the small side for me anyway, especially with 26" wheels.

Still a wonderful frameset for someone though, it's perfect in every way!

  • That tourer so nice... such a bargain too

  • Dibs World tour, PM'd :)

  • Update:

The complete Bob Jackson is reduced

The frame is being viewed tomorrow

  • Interested in the frame if you don't manage to shift it. I'm in Bristol though so would require posting.

  • Interested in either bike or frame. So likewise if either don't shift I'd be interested but again would require postage.

  • The frame is now sold - nice to meet you @hkbullets

The bike is still available @motoko - PM me and we can talk delivery.

  • Thanks @kat for the lovely frame and good to meet you and your bikes.
