  • That's reminded me - I need to return mine. Worn once and the stitiching came undone between the fingers.

Sportpursuit have Grippps for £25 if people are interested. I know it's frowned upon to post referral links, but eh... This is actually a good deal. All sizes as well.

Just bought some size up (somehow a XXL) for when my current (slightly too small) ones expire.

    Here

  • @Heldring & @Tijs

Casquetteurs is a cool shop, I ordered a load of caps for friends there a little while ago.

  • Anyone know anything about morevelo nth sizing? On the jerseys. Come up small/big? Im technically a medium according to their sizing but very close to a small, want a race fit. Will also be wearing with a base layer any help?

  • Your in Bristol right?
Deka in Bath have a really good range of the Morvelo stuff in stock.

  • ah cool might have to check them out!

  • DRK mint kit is ace.

  • These are great. Awesome twitter feed too.

  • Late to the party but really like this. Their website made me want to go to Scotland a lot.

  • Awesome! Thanks for the link

  • if you had a choice what would you buy

    1. short sleeve cycling jersey
    2. sleeveless cycling jersey

I am planning to buy sleeveless cycling jersey that opens up a bit of shoulders area. This could help me be even cooler than I am now with short sleeve jersey. But I am afraid my shoulders will get burnt in the sun as i cycle for a long time. Are my fears unfounded?

  • You'll look very tri. Do you want to look tri?

*disclaimer - i've got an old short sleeve jersey I tore the sleeves off because it was so hot that day. It's my go-to horrorshow jersey for the piping hot days.

  • Just put sun cream on your shoulders when you put it on your arms...?

  • @zaurbek

    1) Yes
    2) NO

    slvlss is an abomination.

  • @bashthebox honestly i dont care what i look like as long as i am cool. if you wore it on piping hot days then i will too but since i dont have a jersey to ruin i will get a sleeveless jersey.

  • that's a great idea, thanks.

  • Your best bet is probably to go with a more modern, tight around the sleeves/shoulders jersey. More wicking for your sweat that way, and you'll look badass rather than feeling a bit daft.

  • get a lightweight 'climbers' jersey? Plenty of them around now, i know Champsys make them as i have one and it's very light

  • If you get something well made, tight, lightweight and white - it will be cooler than having your shoulders exposed to the sun

  • honestly i dont care what i look like as long as i am cool.

    Bibs only then.

  • piping hot days

    You're not in London then?

  • Look on the bright side, anyone wearing a slvls cycling jersey will be able to transition seamlessly between their commute, a post commute swim, and a game of australian rules football

  • Can this thread now be deleted? I can't believe sleeveless cycling jerseys are being considered as stylish.

  • ^ this haha
