Isn't ss with back brake quite similar to fixed brakeless? (I wouldn't know, never ridden ss)
I would have thought that brakeless fixed requires you to modulate your speed a bit more. You could easily get carried away on a big downhill on SS. Quicker to stop from 30mph than 40.
good point, sounds legit, he should just stick to fixed or two brakes
