Got a mate who lives in Surbs, works in Exmouth mkt - that's a rather hardman 50+km a day. He does take the train a couple of days a week and Bromptons in from Waterloo though.
As a freelancer, i don't know where i'm working day to day so moving further out could bite me in the bum. I'd love to live in one of the villages in the Shoreham/Orpington/Sevenoaks bit though, even if they are a bit Daily Mail Torygraph UKIPish. So pretty, and good trains in. Maybe one day.. need to work on a profitable side project to get work done from home more.
