Incisive predictions fromThe Guardian. Well worth a re-read:

So he reckons City then United then Chelsea with Arsenal coming in fourth.
Seems legit.

Absolutely spot on, I'll look out for his predictions next time around...

Anyway, let's talk about Derby.
2015-????: Paul Clements
2013–2015: Steve McClaren.
2009–2013: Nigel Clough.
2007–2008: Paul Jewell.
2006–2007: Billy Davies.
2005–2006: Phil Brown.
2003–2005: George Burley.
2002–2003: John Gregory. All those managers and not one trophy of note (other than the Brian Clough Cup of course)

Perhaps they could go for Brendan Rodgers next. He is diminutive enough.

• #117388
We won the Play Off final with Davies. There's a trophy for that too.

There's a very hard to break record or two in there.
-
• #117390
There have been 29 Chelsea managers (including one game interim managers like Wilkins and TSO twice) since I first went to Stamford Bridge.
There were only 6 before then.

Indeed, I never thought I'd see anyone eclipse Liverpool's bed wetting record. But you did, with style.

Imagine if they did go up. There would be nothing but bitter, hateful, mocking, posts.

They should have kept Samuel Eto'o for another season and I do not see Diego Costa offering them much. Should they have sold Romelu Lukaku? Everton will not be far off the top four with him up front and if you compare how much Manchester United paid for Luke Shaw, they got him for a reasonable price at £28m.
Costa is overrated. He had a couple of good years for Atlético Madrid, but his biggest asset is his physicality and while he could bully defenders in Spain, in England they will not be scared of him; as we saw at the World Cup, he is not a ball-playing striker. He was badly found out for Spain.
Fucking hell Didi
