  • Looks like this poor chap had his front QR skewer nicked but the unlocked rear wheel untouched. Odd.

  • Ohhh... Nice distro behind however.

  • tbh, idek, i can't even. thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. crappy bike = crappy lock/locking method ?

  • Ways not to lock your bike... if being called a 'bike lock wanker' upsets you

  • is that your sign?

Cause otherwise i dunno what your doing parking in that place.

  • I'd bring in a padlock and lock his chain with it for the lols. People that leave their locks in "their" spaces at shared bike stores are a pet peeve of mine.

  • Yeah generally everyone just leaves their locks and it sort of works itself out, but this person has padded up 'their' part of the rail and is obvs quite keen on it.

Not sure if the hallmark of a bike lock wanker or just a bit excessive.

  • That is absolutely a wanker thing to do.

Love a passive aggressive note war in the bike lock up though.

  • Should have parked a car over it.

  • This was outside my university.

  • They have padded everything as they use a chain lock that will fuck up the paint on everything in a mile radius when they lock/unlock with it.

  • Move the sign every day to somewhere else.

Or remove it and put up a new sign there:-

    "
    DO NOT PLACE
    UNOFFICIAL SIGNS
    ON THIS WALL
    "

  • Just scrub out the words ' to avoid'

  • Write "I yearn for you carnally" on the note.

  • There's a chap working in the same building as I am at the moment who just leaves his bike leant up against a lock stand. No lock. Public courtyard overlooked by offices - not a through route for anyone, but still, anyone can walk off the street and grab it. Somehow it's survived the 2 and a half weeks I've been here.
Hang on that sounds a bit like 'it's survived two and a half weeks and I haven't nicked it'. Which is also true, but y'know.

  • Same bike, a week apart. They're actually making it easier each time, I'm hoping next week it'll just be lent against the wall with a note saying 'Here, have this'

  • Spotted on Broadway Market a few weeks ago. Looked like it was being used... not sure what to say really.

  • 'The repair job's back on.'

  • Have they made it 'rideable' by using another bike as a makeshift splint?

  • Seems like a reasonable request

  • At a hospital I was working at.
