Not the best day at the office, swim went well, out in the first 1/4 of my wave, the bike was tough but despite spending most of the downhill doing 50+kph I had enough gears to end up averaging 220 watts (so 20 watts under target) then I had a meltdown in t2, I left my chip in transition after putting socks on, so added about 500m and then once I was properly out my left quad and hamstring simultaneously cramped so hard it made me cry! Couldn't stretch and waking made it cramp harder - so I had to wait for it to subside despite the GB manager screaming at me that I was top 10, and then just had to ease into the run once it stopped.
So of my three aims top 10, sub 5 and being the fastest of my club mates I only achieved one.
But a lot of lessons learnt, and I may come back next year for another attempt.
