Installing the spider ring?
You'll need to remove the DS crank with the correct tool, pop it in a softjaw vice then use the lock ring tool to remove the lock-ring, which has a normal threading. The spider will then slide off the back of the crank with a bit of persuasion. Pop the ring on in its place - you can't mount it incorrectly - then pop a bit of loctite on the lock-ring threads and bolt it down to the curiously specific 47nm, which is tight-as if you are a 60kg weakling like me.
If you are just changing chainrings there's nothing specific about it, same as any other crank.
Anyone got a good guide/manual for swapping chainrings on hollowgram sl cranks? Or is it pretty intuitive? Attempting it for the first time tomorrow...
