I've used the Durano Plus and they are just stupidly durable but I thought I'd compromise a bit on the p resistance and go for the slightly nicer rolling, more supple, lighter Duranos. The 'S' version are a race tyre I think and given I'm just doing long miles for training and audax they aren't what I need - durability is more important.

I've been quite happy with my Duranos. 000 of km's on the TT bike last year and I fitted a new set recently and they've done turbo stuff as well as recent 400 and 600k audaxes with no issues.
Conti can explode in huge fireballs and kill any innocent children within 50k radius.
