Shimano MO87 SDPs are good for me in wide 52, I'm a UK 15 in normal shoes. I did get a pair of wide 51s and wore those on a three week tour, but my right big toe went numb about a week in and didn't become normal again until about 2 weeks after the tour. Weird.
Also, I need quite a lot of arch support and the only options I could find were green Superfeet insoles. Not as much arch support as I need, but better than the stock insoles by a long way. If anyone knows of big insoles with lots of arch support I'm all ears.
Haven't tried any of the Sidi shoes as I'm not made of money. Would be interested to try a pair of 52 Megas if I find any in real life. I've heard they come up a bit small compared to Shimano...
