I spent a while working in Forest Gate and our dress code for walking too and from the station was hoodie.
One night I witnessed a mass brawl of about 40 people.
Drug users and prostitutes would regularly be doing their business in our carpark.
We never decorated over the bullet holes in the wall which were the result of a raid over the road.
This was all several years ago mind, has it improved?

I hope it's nicer than it was in 2004 when I lived there... I got properly mugged once, and was also verbally 'gay-bashed'. I'm not gay, just handsome.
