I'm doing the last 40 miles of GUCR with my mate on Sunday. When I meet him he'll already have done over 100 miles and be a needy, grumpy fucker with gastric troubles and nasty feet. He probably won't be fit to do any more running.
Is it wrong to hope he quits at 70-80 miles?
That's a savage race. My dad has attempted it a couple of times, can't think of anything worse than endless canals.
