got meself a spec crossroads comp with deore , freemans, for demolishing a friends concrete path, fugly thing, but once rejuvenated should not warrant any dirty teeefs attentions, so will be used as me lock up bike in london's london, had too many hits now on shit that's hard to replace, seatpost is pure comedy and saddle looks like one a piles victim has

^ soft saddles - cringe. 'Spesshey's get nicked, so probably best paint it with tar / waterbased emulsion for full commuter points.
Got some surprises this week.
The surprise I got last week was the Italian thread BB shell.. seller didn't mention.
This week surprises were much better!

I imagine you will have better luck finding a unicorn. Sick frame though, for sure!

From the video:
Anyone know anything about this last bike? Carbon I presume? But other than that.

The usual, NJS Export.
Keeping it to the theme, I'm waiting for this in the post:
-
• #101838
So you're the one who brought that, pretty good price too for an 853 Samson.

okok if we're into njs of the forum.. i gots me this last week
cheap, misaligned fork and possibly headtube.
but its a peach of a frame; sparkly, chromed underneath...plan is to go ahead with a soma the rat fork now in the post, full da 7710 from the gazelle, syntace 26.0mm stem and then either risers or the syntace bullhorns i have at home.
i hope with a new fork the misalignment was either never there or not noticable.
oh yeah, and a rack. anyone rate the blb take away tray?
i know blb but it ticks a lot of boxes..
should happen somewhere next week, watch this space

Had to be done at that price.
It got my attention September last year and, surprisingly, was still around until now. -

While I'm here...
Got this build few weeks ago:
It's a Dave Yates build frame using Reynolds 631 and was unlucky to be resprayed to look like a De Rosa. It gets loads of attention and comments, but it'll be dressed like a proper gentleman one day.
Most parts got swapped over from my crashed Rourke, just to see how it rides, and I enjoy it a lot so far. Full Veloce 10 speed groupset that is likely to stay, stem and seat post will change. It also has got front and rear rack braze-on's and they're very likely to be used. Thinking of a small Nitto front rack and something along the lines of a Tubus Fly on a back, which will be loaded with coffee at most times.
Apart of needing new cables sometime soon, it's running well and very comfortable to ride. -

Im now tempted to go NJS export again.
So many nice frames in my size.@edscoble @DoktorPepe lemme know tax costs when they land please?
-
• #101847
Go to the website again, and select price, then size and check out the cheapest one with the least damage possible.
-
• #101848
@dakin siiigh, sub £200, perfect size (for me) aswell
-
• #101849
Was going to buy that, wasn't keen on fork crown and the slightly bent seat stay (aero tho).
-
• #101850
They offer -10% on all frames right now, so just do it if you feel like it.
I've only seen another 2-3 build of 853 before, Matt Crampton's and another one. I've got a weak spot for shiny Reynolds.
yup, when you take into account most frames on export also come with about £60-70s with of HS and BB they all become EVEN cheaper
