You do, but a second stage position is surely going to be worth more than a second place GC.
Also, Aru looks like a young Joe Teenslain.

Contador currently trolling Porte and Twitter by temporarily removing his helmet. Again.
According to the rules he should be disqualified from the race.
I tried to screen grab it but was too slow on my phoneternet buttons, was about 65km from finish. If presented with a pic would commissaries be obliged to apply the rules?

Unfortunately have Porte and Pozzo too, so no GC chances for me.

This race is looking more and more settled. Bit like the Tour last year. Very exciting start followed by reality settling in.
I hope I'm wrong.
It's a ruin.

In other news, the Tour of Norway seems to run trough the decidedly most boring landscape the country has to offer.
Any of @Smallfurry 's weekend rides beats this by a mile. -

Contis. He's German.
Prussian actually. Germany did not exist then.

From a city which is now part of Russia, in fact.
The plot thickens.
You'll have to wait for my exciting blog post.

Climb out of Tosa looked way steeper than it was when the F1 cars used to do it!

Has it been explained why taking a wheel from another team is not ok?
If it's ok to take a wheel from Neutral Service, or just from the nearest available mechanic (as I'm sure happens all the time in the northern european spring races). Why not from another team?

^ would guess it's to prevent collusion between teams against another?

Basically -
If Wiggins was on the firm none of this would be an issue. -

I always see Tony 'do you want me to lapdance for you' Hayes.
And Sacha Baron Cohen (just in case my naked antisemitism wasn't obvious enough).

Ha.
Totally agree.
I currently plan my rides purely to suit my training needs and avoid traffic. Yet I am constantly blown away by the beauty of the aera. How did they manage it?Theres a MAMIL multi stage sportive that takes in most of my favourate Climbs and rides. I can only imagine the pro teams found it too pricey (it really is).

In Vicenza.
Will watch it on the final climb. Going to see the next 4 stages.
No idea what's going on in giro. Been to busy to keep up. Beyond portegate and Astana.

One of them. I dunno. I have no memory for cycling events I'm not in.
Nnnooooooo!!!!! Tell me you've got Porte, please.
