I swear by Nigel Slater, he's the one that got me cooking. I've currently got:
also his original real fast food, and another one whose title I forget,

Don't mind a bit of Slater, I like his Thai green curry recipe and the lemon grass chicken which is served in lettuce leaves. Deffo a gap for a Thai book, will read up on Mr Thompson thanks.
What about BBq literature, Pitt Cue & Co book?
Also had an Indian night in yesterday, Mint and Lemon Chicken curry, Sag Paneer, Goan style Dal (red lentils, turmeric, mustard/cumin seeds, tomatoes, onion, garlic, ginger), Chapatis. Enough for three meals!
Lokal is a great restaurant in Berlin, I'll be heading back in July for a foodie fest.
I need a new cookbook, recommend your favourites please!
