It's been entirely my fault, it costed me £849 back in 2012, I bought it blindly online trusting my "fellow" because it looked nice in his pictures. In the end it was quite bad for all those money. I think the columbus carbon fork is the only one worth mention and possibly the light weight.
However you are telling me that you might still want to go for the Cinelli Mystic over say a Langster Pro or a Dolan Pre Cursa?

In my mind the Cinelli Mystic Rats is just a really average SS commuter bike, its one of the few frames they do that takes a rear brake, not really fixie/track.
I wouldn't rule out getting a proper one over a Specialised, Fuji, Dolan.. but you do pay a premium for the Cinelli name.
