There is actually a new rim type that I have been told about that seems to try and mimic the Enve 3.4.
It's 35mm depth x 25mm width coming in at 360g per tubular rim (U shape). Sounds the perfect climbing with descending stability combo (famous last words).
CK R45 front (18h): 102g
CK R45 rear (24h): 224g
35mm x 25mm rims: 720g (360g each)
Sapim CX-Ray spokes: 183g (42 x 4.36g)
12mm ALLOY nipples: 13gTOTAL: 1242g
Potentially another weight saving there then (which can only be good news).
There are other small changes I can make to my setup to shave off some grams here or there but I won't be going crazy with it.
Ultimately, my Zipp 60s weigh in at 1.82g for the pair and a drop of over half a kilo will be tangible.
