  • I went to Koya on Saturday, well worth a trip before it shuts in two weeks. So many highlights but the tempura was so light and fresh. One of the specials was wild garlic and sweet heart cabbage stuffed chicken wings 'gyoza'. Basically large chicken wings filled as if they were a gyoza. Oof. My other half went so crazy for the pickled plums that we went straight to the Japan Centre at Piccadilly to buy a jar.
