Finally sourced a headset for this build, so hope to get started on it this week. I've been painting the chipped areas today, taking a while as I did several coats, looks a bit darker than original colour, but is slightly less noticeable than no paint. Maybe nail varnish would work better.
Got the seatpost -robbed from my Jackson- polished up,
and the bars/stem/levers together too.
Not sure whether to use dirty white or black hoods. I have a choice of white or celeste Cinelli bar tape too.
Couldn't resist a mock up ( in between coats !Lol ) . The headset pictured is just cups, no bearings.
As you can see, the forks are not original raked ones, but suit the bike I think, as well as being reasonably light
