Definite repaint, looks suspiciously like powdercoat. In all honesty a frame of that age is unlikely to have original unmarked paint. Mine was stripped back to bare metal (see build thread elsewhere) and every detail looks sharper than on this one. My original Gios paint was pretty damned good, not glooped on, but you need to be an old git like me to remember that...
